How to use this calculator

Combined odds = product of all leg odds | Profit = stake × (combined odds − 1)

A parlay multiplies the odds of each selection together. All legs must win for the parlay to pay. The implied probability of the whole parlay is the product of each leg's implied probability.

Frequently asked questions

What is a parlay bet?

A parlay (also called an accumulator or multi-bet) combines 2 or more selections into a single bet. All selections must win for the parlay to pay out. The trade-off is higher potential payout — since odds multiply together — against lower probability of winning.

Are parlays good value?

In general, parlays are less valuable than placing each selection as a single bet because the bookmaker's margin (overround) is compounded with each additional leg. A 5-leg parlay at a 5% margin per leg has an effective 23% margin on the overall bet.

What is the difference between a parlay and a teaser?

A teaser adjusts point spreads in your favour (typically 6–10 points in NFL) in exchange for reduced odds. A parlay uses the market odds without any adjustment. Both require all legs to win.

How Parlay Odds Are Calculated

Each selection's decimal odds are multiplied together. A 3-leg parlay with odds of 2.0, 1.8, and 2.5 gives combined odds of 2.0 × 1.8 × 2.5 = 9.0. A $10 stake returns $90, a profit of $80. Each additional leg multiplies the potential payout but also reduces the chance of winning.

Understanding Implied Probability in Parlays

The probability of a parlay winning is the product of each leg's implied probability. If each of three legs has a 50% implied chance (2.0 odds), the parlay's implied probability is 50% × 50% × 50% = 12.5%, or 1-in-8 chance.

Same-Game Parlays

Same-game parlays (SGPs) combine multiple bets from the same match. Bookmakers typically cannot multiply the odds independently because outcomes within a game are correlated. Most books offer reduced parlay odds for SGPs to account for this correlation.
